Arsenal Colorado U15 Girls Gold - Disney Showcase Champs!

Congratulations to the Arsenal Colorado U15 Girls Gold for their stellar performance this past weekend at the Disney Showcase in Orlando, Florida! The girls brought home the championship going undefeated and only conceding one goal, while scoring seven.
The girls went 2-0-1 in pool play defeating ISA Elite (New York) 1-0 and drawing against WAZA FC (Michigan) 0-0. The highlight of the pool play games was defeating reigning back to back North Carolina State Cup Champions Piedmont Triad FC Black 3-1. The final was set against Sunrise Sting out of Florida who also went 2-0-1. The championship game was played at the Wide World of Sports Complex in Disney and Arsenal Colorado won 3-0!
It was a great weekend for the team and when asked after winning the championship what they would like to do? They all responded, “We are going to Disney!” This was the first time in Arsenal Colorado history that a team has won this elite level tournament! Congratulations and what a great way to represent Colorado!
