Arsenal Colorado joins the ECNL Regional League - Boys
Date: 4/27/2023
April 27th 2023
The club has decided that it is in the best interest of the membership to join the existing Elite Clubs National League’s Regional League’s (ECNL-RL) newly formed Mountain Conference. Our teams will compete in the Mountain Conference which will consist of the following clubs:
Arsenal Colorado
Colorado Edge
Real Colorado
Pride Soccer Club
Colorado Rapids
Boulder
B-Elite
This league will run concurrently with Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) and begin with the shoulder months of the season; November through March. This platform will also allow our teams to continue participating with CSA and in State Cup. One of the biggest benefits of a conference composed of all Colorado clubs is, no conference travel. This equates to spending travel dollars on showcase events and the college pathway.
Teams will have the opportunity to attend ECNL-RL showcase events (November & January) with an additional event being added and have the ability to qualify for post-season competition (June). Below is an example of the 2022 Showcase events, please note that a third event will be added for the 2023/24 seasonal year:
ECNL REGIONAL LEAGUE EVENT SERIES
ECNL RL Virginia | Richmond, VA | November 18-20, 2022
ECNL RL Florida | Kissimmee, FL | January 20-22, 2022
ECNL RL TBA
Based on the club’s philosophy and the most recent membership survey, the club will continue to meet the expectations of the following:
Provide a positive soccer experience
Provide a competition platform that will enhance player development
Provide our membership with a viable college pathway through ECNL-RL showcase events
Provide teams with an adequate number of games per season
