Arsenal Colorado Competes in Far West Regionals!

Here at Arsenal Colorado we have a tradition of great soccer teams. Our program is the best in Northern Colorado and among the best in the state. This season the U14 Girls Gold and the U18 Boys Gold teams won State Cup Championships! Each of these teams earned a place in the 2014 Far West Regionals in New Mexico.
Players, coaches, and chaperones are making a trip to New Mexico for Far West Regionals. The week-long tournament begins on June 16.
The U14 Girls Gold team won their State Cup Championship game 6-0 against Pride. Coached by Kris Banghart, they competed in the Far West Regional League this Spring and had an impressive showing, finishing second.
The U18 Boys Gold team, coached by Dave Shaffer, is a group of seasoned veterans. They finished their season by beating FC Boulder 3-2 in the State Cup Final. Many of the players have played Arsenal together since U11. This is certainly a curtain call for them as they finish their great Arsenal careers and many of them move on to the collegiate level.
